Saludos, -------- Mensaje original -------- Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends, We are pleased to share the Research Internship in Mountain Biosphere Reserves programme organized by UNESCO [1] in collaboration with Global Mountain Safeguard Research [2] (GLOMOS) - a joint initiative of the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security [3] and Eurac Research [4]. The general objective of this programme is to bridge scientific knowledge and its practical application in managing mountain biosphere reserves. It offers young researchers the chance to conduct applied research focused on mountain socio-ecosystems that addresses the real needs of the territory. The programme is structured in two phases. In the first phase, the selected participant will spend two months at Eurac's headquarters in Bolzano, Italy, to familiarize themselves with the specific topic. Following this, they will conduct applied research aligned with the interests of the chosen biosphere reserve. UNESCO will financially support the selected candidate, covering costs for the stay in Bolzano and the fieldwork. Submit your application through the online form.
